Canada’s fastest growing guitar maker continues its impressive reach into the music industry by opening its own record label.
DOS Records, a subsidiary of Dot On Shaft/ Carparelli Guitars, becomes Canada’s first Guitar Makers to open its own label. Dot on Shaft/ Carparelli Guitars, with two physical retail stores, an online retail store and a music academy, is quickly being recognized as a leader in Canada’s music scene. DOS Records opens its doors in June and will celebrate on the 26th at CLUB 279 Hard Rock Café Toronto, at the official album release party of their first signed band, littleSUNDAY.
Mike Carparelli has done it again! On the heels of his guitars’ success around the world, he has opened his own record label and given Canada’s music-label industry an upgrade. Dot On Shaft/ Carparelli Guitars endorses a number of well-known and well-established musicians such as Lucas Rossi, Suzie McNeil, and Mick Box from Uriah Heep.
“It was Inevitable to launch DOS Records seeing that over the past years, we’ve received hundreds of unsolicited music by enthusiastic artists from around the world! The logical next step was to find the right people and launch another dream!”
Vice President of DOS Records, Paul Merryweather is positioned to utilize his experience and contacts in the music industry.

DOS Records will operate out of Toronto, Ontario but has its doors open to any bands that feel they rock and deserve a chance to be heard. The DOS Records website, www.dosrecordlabel.com provides an opportunity for bands to submit their demos. DOS Records wants to create a go-to website for up and coming musicians. The DOS website also provides bands direct contact with all elements of album production; including audio and visual recording, producers, engineers, vocal coaches, songwriters and studios.
DOS Records has aligned its influence to expose and celebrate new independent music on a global scale.
